Da quando sono stata in vacanza a Venezia, tra tutte le sue bellezze, mi sono innamorata delle pietre di vetro create dai mastri vetrai delle isole di Murano e Burano. Infatti, oltre ai vari oggetti che questi artisti artigiani creano con grandissima maestria, ci sono anche le delicate e luminose pietre che oggi molti utilizzano per realizzare gioielli preziosi. I colori di una pietra di vetro sono luminosi, accesi, soprattutto quando vengono colpiti dalla luce. A Burano, piccola e bellissima isola caratterizzata da tante case colorate attaccate l’una all’altra, oltre alle vetrerie, ci sono anche botteghe dove vengono venduti i merletti. Il merletto di Burano è uno dei più rinomati merletti al mondo e la sua storia, legata a numerose leggende, si perde nella notte dei tempi. Per alcuni la tipica lavorazione buranella sarebbe connessa alla tradizione marinaresca degli abitanti della piccola isola, legati alla pesca e di conseguenza alla fabbricazione e alla riparazione in loco delle reti.

Per questo mi sono divertita a disegnare una mini capsule di abiti da sera interamente realizzati con merletti e tessuti impreziositi da applicazioni di vetro! La trovo molto chic, preziosa e luminosa!
That’s why I enjoyed designing a mini capsule of evening dresses entirely made with lace and fabrics embellished with glass applications! I find it very chic, precious and luminous!
