CACTUS MANIA!

No ragazzi, non siamo nel deserto … ma ormai è ufficiale, i cactus sono tra noi!

Ve ne sarete accorti tutti, se prima era iniziata in sordina, ora questa tendenza ha preso posto di diritto come il trend ufficiale della nuova stagione, sia nell’ambito dell’abbigliamento che dell’arredamento. In questo periodo, dove le vetrine cominciano a cambiare veste e iniziare timidamente a vestirsi di aria primaverile, i cactus come elemento decorativo ne fanno da padroni. Nei negozi di arredamento e casalinghi stanno facendo capolino buffi e simpatici cactus di ogni forma e colore, ingentiliti da fiorellini rosa o arancio, di tutte le dimensioni, come fermaporta, oggetti di arredo, in gommapiuma o in tessuto imbottito da inserire negli angoli più anonimi della nostra casa, per renderli speciali e dargli un tocco di simpatia.

You will have noticed all of them, if it had started quietly before, now this trend has taken the right place as the official trend of the new season, both in the field of clothing and furniture. In this period, where the windows begin to change clothes and start timidly dressing in spring air, the cactuses as a decorative element are the masters. In the furnishing and household shops, funny and cute cactuses of every shape and color are peeping out, softened by little pink or orange flowers, of all sizes, such as door stops, furnishing objects, foam or padded fabric to insert in the most anonymous corners of our house, to make them special and give them a touch of sympathy.

Non so a quanti di voi sia mai passato per la mente, prima d’oggi, di affezionarsi così tanto ad un cactus … alla fine è una pianta grassa che si vede raramente in giro, e a parte chi ha la fortuna di avere il pollice verde, cosa che haimè io non ho, non penso sia così comune andare da un fiorista e comprarne uno … Invece chissà perché è diventato uno dei protagonisti di questo inverno e ancora di più lo sarà dell’estate che verrà.

Così è ufficiale: impazza la CACTUS MANIA!

So it’s official: the CACTUS MANIA goes crazy!

Naturalmente ogni cactus che si rispetti ha le sue caratteristiche, e non sempre sono le stesse. Come ogni rappresentazione si può differenziare per forma, per semplicità o complessità ( per intenderci più stilizzato o molto dettagliato), per colori, per ironia. Impazzano le carte da parati o adesive con stampe di cactus romantici, essenziali, ironici, buffi, stilizzati, stile nordico.

Naturally every self-respecting cactus has its own characteristics, and they are not always the same. Like any representation, it can be differentiated by form, by simplicity or complexity (to be more stylized or very detailed), by color, by irony. Wallpaper or adhesive cracks are printed with romantic, essential, ironic, funny, stylized, Nordic style cactus prints.

I cactus impazzano persino nel mondo degli appassionati di tattoo! In tanti pare abbiano deciso di farsi tatuare sul corpo un cactus … io non sono un’appassionata di tatuaggi, o meglio, mi piacciono tantissimo ma sono una fifona e non credo di avere il coraggio di farmene uno, ma so bene che un tatuaggio ha sempre un significato per chi se lo fa incidere sulla pelle. Chiedo, (da ignorante sull’argomento), a chi se ne intende, che significato potrebbe avere un cactus sul proprio corpo …

E adesso veniamo alla moda. Perché il fashion sistem mica poteva farselo sfuggire!!! Il nostro cactus è diventato il protagonista di simpaticissime t-shirt, felpe dai vari messaggi umoristici, camicette micro stampate, persino gonne e pantaloni! L’appeal è sempre romantic-chic, io lo prediligo non troppo carico, leggermente semplificato, dai colori tenui e delicati.

And now we come to fashion. Because the fashion system could not get away !!! Our cactus has become the protagonist of very nice t-shirts, sweatshirts with various humorous messages, micro printed blouses, even skirts and trousers! The appeal is always romantic-chic, I prefer it not too heavy, slightly simplified, with soft and delicate colors.

Insomma, che lo vogliate o meno, quest’anno vedrete in giro un sacco di cactus, e non sarete nel deserto! 😉

Ovviamente mi sono fatta prendere da questa tendenza anche io, e ho dipinto un cactus su una t-shirt bianca in puro cotone, con colori brillantinati!

In short, whether you like it or not, this year you will see a lot of cactus around, and you will not be in the desert! 😉 Of course I got myself into this trend too, and I painted a cactus on a pure cotton white t-shirt with bright colors!
