Come ho scritto il mio libro: testo semiserio di una scrittrice in erba
È buffo che la sottoscritta abbia scritto un libro sul misterioso Egitto ma non ci sia mai realmente stata! ( Che sfigata penserete voi) Eh noooo!
Fin da giovanissima avevo un’ immaginaria tiara sulla testa e mi disegnavo con serpenti sulle braccia e piramidi attorno! Un’adolescente tutta ciccia e brufoli (una secchia fatta e finita) con la convinzione di essere stata una regina egizia in una vita passata, una strafiga simil modelle anni ’80 con stacco di coscia e capelli neri lucidi da spot hollywoodiano (altro che la famosa fashionblogger). Ho letteralmente macinato libri, documentari, testi, musei, film sui generis. Verso i 10 anni, quando i brufoli non c’erano ancora, ma la ciccia si, oltre a sentirmi una dea spiaccicata sul muro sotto forma di geroglifico, avevo il trip di “Star Treck”, mi sbaffavo merendine del Mulino Bianco davanti alla tele sognando che un giorno sarebbe esistito sul serio il teletrasporto.

It’s funny that the undersigned has written a book about the mysterious Egypt but it never really happened! (What a loser you think) Noooo!
From an early age I had an imaginary tiara on my head and I was drawing with snakes on my arms and pyramids around! An adolescent all flesh and pimples (a bucket made and finished) with the conviction of having been an Egyptian queen in a past life, a strafiga similar to the 80s with thigh detachment and shiny black hair from a Hollywood spot (other than the famous fashionblogger). I literally milled books, documentaries, texts, museums, films sui generis. When I was 10, when the pimples were not there yet, but the flab, in addition to feeling like a goddess splattered on the wall in the form of a hieroglyph, I had the trip to “Star Treck”, I smudged Mulino Bianco’s snacks in front of the canvas dreaming that one day teleportation would really exist.
Vedevo esseri alieni di ogni forma e il coraggioso capitano Kirk che viaggiava nell’interspazio. È stato un giorno di quelli che ho buttato la girella per terra e con la bocca zozza di cioccolato ho avuto una grande intuizione: gli egiziani erano degli alieni. Poi sono cresciuta e ho capito che il popolo egizio era come me, carne ed ossa (e zero peli fortunelli loro, perché se li bruciavano con la cera bollente fin da piccoli), ma che gli alieni li aveva conosciuti sul serio. Poi gli alieni hanno conosciuto gli esseri umani e sono scappati…ma quella è un’altra storia. Come potrebbero sennò avere fatto tutto quello che hanno fatto??? A loro gli alieni hanno insegnato molte cose, astronomia, leggi matematiche, geometrie, costruzioni semplicemente perfette senza l’uso di alcun strumento…. Se gli alieni avessero la malaugurata idea di farci visita ora (ma sono convinta che non sono a tal punto sadomasochisti) ci farebbero il gesto dell’ombrello e ci direbbero “E mo so cazzi vostri!” Tornerebbero sul loro ridente pianeta dicendosi:
“Aho c’è andata di culo stavolta, ci è funzionato il teletrasporto!”
I saw alien beings of all shapes and the brave captain Kirk traveling in the interspace. It was a day of those that I threw the swivel on the floor and with the dirty chocolate mouth I had a great intuition: the Egyptians were aliens. Then I grew up and I realized that the Egyptian people were like me, flesh and bones (and zero lucky hairs for them, because they burned them with hot wax from an early age), but that the aliens had known them seriously. Then the aliens met humans and ran away … but that’s another story. How could they otherwise have done everything they did ??? To them the aliens have taught many things, astronomy, mathematical laws, geometries, simply perfect constructions without the use of any instrument … If the aliens had the unfortunate idea to visit us now (but I am convinced that they are not for that sadomasochist point) they would make us the gesture of the umbrella and they would say “E mo so cazzi yours!” They would return to their laughing planet, saying:
“Aho there is a goof ass this time, the transporter has worked!”
Chi mi conosce bene sa che ho una gran vena autoironica, per questo mi prendo spesso in giro quando penso a come è nato il mio libro. Credo di averlo iniziato a scrivere proprio quando gli egiziani hanno inziato a costruire le piramidi!!!! Tanti anni fa!!!! Non mi ricordo nemmeno che anno fosse! E che ci crediate o meno “Entità Inverse” è stato scritto interamente a mano sulle agende che papà mi regalava, e quando sono finite quelle, sui quaderni a righe, dove ho riempito pagine e pagine. Mia mamma non sapeva più dove metterli! Ci ho messo più di 10 anni, con interruzioni di anche 5 anni, dove il pensiero dominante era “Ma diciamocelo Eli, ma figurati se vedrai mai pubblicato il tuo romanzo…” I miei primi 40 anni invece mi hanno regalato questa grande soddisfazione! E chi lo sa’….io nel frattempo mi sono messa a scrivere il secondo….e giuro non ci metterò altri 10 anni!!!!!
Those who know me well know that I have a great self-deprecating vein, which is why I often tease myself when I think about how my book was born. I think I started writing it just when the Egyptians started building the pyramids !!!! Many years ago!!!! I don’t even remember what year it was! And believe it or not “Entità Inverse” was written entirely by hand on the diaries that Dad gave me, and when those ended, on the lined notebooks, where I filled pages and pages. My mom didn’t know where to put them anymore! It took me more than 10 years, with interruptions of even 5 years, where the dominant thought was “But let’s face it Eli, but imagine if you will ever see your novel published …” My first 40 years instead gave me this great satisfaction ! And who knows’ …. in the meantime I started to write the second …. and I swear it will not take another 10 years !!!!!
Qualcuno mi ha chiesto se scriverò il seguito di “Entità Inverse”, so bene che il finale, per chi ha avuto il piacere di leggerlo, lascia ancora molto spazio all’immaginazione e scenari irrisolti da poter sviluppare in un futuro. Mai dire mai, ma al momento non è nei miei progetti. In questo momento sto scrivendo un secondo libro, di cui posso svelarvi solo la tematica, che sarà la fantascienza. E ho promesso a me stessa di non metterci troppo tempo!!!
Someone asked me if I will write the sequel to “Entità Inverse”, I know that the ending, for those who had the pleasure of reading it, still leaves much room for imagination and unresolved scenarios to be developed in the future. Never say never, but at the moment it is not in my projects. Right now I’m writing a second book, of which I can only reveal the topic, which will be science fiction. And I promised myself it wouldn’t take too long !!!
La cosa che più mi ha riempito il cuore come esordiente, è stato l’affetto ed i complimenti ricevuti dalle persone che hanno avuto il piacere di leggere il mio romanzo! E un mio caro amico speacker ha anche letto un brano con la sua voce suadente!!!

E poi ci sono state altre soddisfazioni, come comparire nella rubrica scrittori del settimanale “F” o di essere ospite per ben due volte a Radio Atlanta Milano, una radio privata di Milano! La mia prima volta davanti ad un microfono a parlare del mio libro!!!
And then there have been other satisfactions, like appearing in the writers column of the weekly “F” or being a guest twice at Radio Atlanta Milano, a private radio station in Milan! My first time in front of a microphone talking about my book !!!
Insomma, è stata davvero una bellissima avventura, e in primis devo ringraziare la Casa Editrice Montedit che ha creduto in me e nel potenziale del mio libro!
In short, it was really a wonderful adventure, and first and foremost I have to thank the Montedit Publishing House that believed in me and in the potential of my book!
