Tempo fa pubblicai un post sulla nuova tendenza che stava prendendo piede nel mondo dell’abito da sposa, quella dell’utilizzo di pizzi e ricami sempre più preziosi ed elaborati, abiti come magici creazioni di disegni geometrici o floreali, elaborati e fantasiosi.

Però oggi voglio parlarvi della bellezza che anche solo un tessuto di pura seta può dare alle forme di un vestito dalle linee e costruzioni perfette. Perché a volte non servono tanti orpelli per rendere un abito unico, e chi ama la semplicità non deve per forza rinunciare al fascino. Anzi, a volte creare qualcosa di semplice ma originale può risultare ancora più difficile!

La scelta dell’abito da sposa rappresenta un momento unico e pieno di emozione, perché fa parte delle tappe obbligatorie che deve affrontare la futura sposa, e molto spesso questo momento viene vissuto con ansia ed agitazione. Tutte aspettano di guardarsi allo specchio e piangere dalla gioia, perché quello sarà il campanello che rivelerà loro che è l’abito perfetto. E in genere tutte hanno in mente come dovrà essere. Tutte vogliono sentirsi delle principesse, tutte vogliono che sia indimenticabile e da togliere il fiato. Ma non sempre le cose vanno lisce come l’olio!! La capacità di assecondare le richieste delle future spose e nello stesso tempo di consigliarle sugli abiti che meglio si addicono alle loro forme non è cosi facile.

The ability to satisfy the requests of future brides and at the same time to advise them on the clothes that best suit their shapes is not so easy.

“Less is more“, sapete che significa? Che spesso proprio l’essenzialità colpisce più di tanti orpelli. Un abito da sposa che sembra una torta vi potrebbe far apparire come una di quelle spose degli anni ’80, gonfie e kitsch, e non sempre i pizzi e i ricami stanno bene a tutte. Anzi, moltissime silhouette acquistano bellezza e fascino proprio grazie ad abiti dalle linee pulite ma dai tessuti leggeri come piume. Quando si indossa un abito di pura seta, raso o satin più della metà del lavoro è stato già fatto! Resteranno solo da scegliere gli accessori che potranno regalare un tocco di originalità in più all’outfit.

Credetemi, se mai un giorno mi sposerò (e spero che accada appena avrò trovato il mio principe azzurro), il mio abito sarà semplice ma spettacolare e chic nello stesso tempo. Ovviamente l’ho già disegnato, ma non posso farvelo vedere, non sia mai che il mio lui sia tra voi followers e lo veda prima del tempo!!! Scherzi a parte queste mie creazioni vi daranno un’idea di quello che per me è il concetto di “ricca semplicità”, modelli da realizzare con un solo tessuto ma impreziositi da tagli e linee che li rendono unici.

Believe me, if I ever get married one day (and I hope it will happen as soon as I find my prince charming), my dress will be simple but spectacular and chic at the same time. Seriously these creations of mine will give you an idea of what for me is the concept of “rich simplicity”, models to be made with just one fabric but embellished with cuts and lines that make them unique.
